I decided to create a cherry because I love cherries and knew I'd have fun trying to make one. Not having ever used the gradient mesh tool before, I tried my best to make the cherry look realistic. When I added more highlights and shading like the real picture, it wouldn't come out right. Therefore, I decide to simplify it as to make it look more appealing. I am fairly pleased with the turnout.
This was one of the assignments I struggled with the most and you made it look easy with this cherry! the overall shape of your fruit is very realistic and proportional to an actual cherry. I like that you made it your own by adding highlights to different parts of the cherry. I noticed the slight gradient you used for the stem of the cherry. This is a small change but adds nice detail to the image.
